Basic information: Three-dimensional manual therapy for foot deformities in children, based on neurophysiological principles, is based on the functional development of the foot in the first year of life and on the principles of manual therapy. This therapy provides the basis for early diagnosis and early treatment of foot malalignments (adducted foot, serpentine foot, clubfoot, calcaneal foot and flatfoot) using special mobilization and stretching holds and functional bandaging. During the training, anatomical and muscular foot deformities are analyzed. The instructor also presents the positioning of the legs relative to the knee axis (varus and valgus feet) and changes in these positions in children, suggesting appropriate procedures. The training program also covers footwear selection and functional motor development in supine, prone, and lateral positions.
